‘The acceleration lounge’ brand partnership experiential and social activations
We developed a VELO (Nicotine pouches)/McLaren partnership communication platform supporting the ‘You’ve got VELO’ creative messaging for Velo. While at the same time staying true to the McLaren brand.
During the F1 calendar, a select number of race weekends would host the VELO / MCLAREN experience. The ‘Acceleration lounge’. VIPs and brand ambassadors were to be invited to take part in a number of exclusive activities. Which the ambassadors would then capture and create snackable content from alongside reporting on the racing itself. All designed to deliver on the ‘Electrifying moments of inspiration’ brand ideal.
Racing simulator competitions against drivers Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris.
‘Brave the hot seat’ - Being taken around the track by a pro driver in a McLaren sportscar.
Velo and other non-tobacco BAT trials and give-aways as well as DJs, graffiti comps and much more.
